Woven for the wedding of a couple from the Rouhani and Bakri families, this poshti sized carpet is a special commission with lots of endearing qualities. The knotting is mostly done in fine Kork baby lambswool but with profuse detailing in shiny silk. The signatures at the top indicate the families that commissioned this special pieces for their happy occasion. A hundred years later, it still stands as a testament to the undying emotions imbedded in fine antique carpets.
