A great old Kashan city carpet with exquisite symmetry and a very pleasing red tonality. Most of these are dark blue. The lotus border is quite ornate and its sky blue tones echo the light blue highlights in the field charmingly. The medallion is not your usual Kashan style, and has a rather atomic look to it.
