Sweet and splendid, this refined poshti was woven by the famous Grand Master Hasan Seirafian in the middle of the last century. It depicts a beautiful pictorial scene influenced by 16th century Safavid miniature paintings. The quality of the materials is very high, both the wool and silk yarns as well as the stunning natural dyes. The weave is tight and very fine too. The drawing, in its detailing and spacing, is exquisite. Highly collectible.

You can't only be a customer of Hadi Maktabi. While his main purpose is rug dealing, he starts with story telling and ends with history selling. That's what I call high-end art curating and closing it all with an entertaining friendship. George El Hani, CEO Levica, Lebanon π±π§
