Story

Uniqueness comes in many ways.
This is the only extant Seirafian whereby the designer’s name is signed in addition to the producer. Its occurrence 4 times reveals the deep respect and affection that Grand Master Sadegh had for this renowned artist.

This isn’t a standard medallion design. Bahadori presented Sadegh with something far lovelier than the repeated Seirafian Toranj-Eslimi pattern.

He placed a gorgeous 🦋 in each corner and an entire flock of lovebirds 🦜 in the border. The medallion itself is a marvellous sunburst ☀️ surrounded by mature 🪷 lotus flowers 🌺 Absolutely magical ✨

The coloration is sweet and attractive, very harmonious and subtle. Earth tones dominate the ground and border but a very subtle turquoise blue brings everything together and everything to life 💙

What our customers say!

To me personally there is no surprise, event or frankly anything that gets me more excited than the purchase of a treasured piece of understated artwork such as that of a proper vintage/antique carpet. The sourcing, grading and authentication of these pieces is no small task but is of the highest importance. Through the respected dealer Hadi Maktabi all that is guaranteed, and rest assured the one thing I can guarantee personally as a client is a first class service from the initial selection process till it gets delivered right to your door step. It was an undeniably special experience, with hundreds of carpets to choose from, will definitely be visiting again. Thank you dear Hadi. Habeeb Al Monawer, Kuwait 🇰🇼
