One of the finest tribal rugs we have had, it ticks all the right boxes:
- extra fine weave
- generous pardeh size
- high quality natural dyes
- soft handle and plush handspun wool
- perfect condition with full pile, full fringes and complete end kilims
We see a beautiful layout with 3 medallions bearing pomegranate fruits, an ancient symbol of fertility and plentifulness. The field is lined with rows and rows of rosettes, perfectly matched in harmonious colors together. The flanks of the field have a pleasant striped design.
You can't only be a customer of Hadi Maktabi. While his main purpose is rug dealing, he starts with story telling and ends with history selling. That's what I call high-end art curating and closing it all with an entertaining friendship. George El Hani, CEO Levica, Lebanon 🇱🇧
