A mint condition rarity in highly desirable and unusual small size. The open madder red field delicately balances the navy blue medallion (note the little cypress tree of life) and ornate corner elements. The plain outer strip is a signature style for these really old pre-commercial Bakhshayesh weavings. A collector's delight.
